Today after a long hiatus, I'm officially ending Asshole Archie. Since now even Archie Comics is making money by 'deconstructing' its own intellectual properties (e.g. Miss Grundy preying on Archie on CW's Riverdale), I don't see much point in this blog. Was this a political effort to expose the power dynamics behind the phoniness of Riverdale's characters or was I merely indulging in crude, sophomoric humor? Was the sexism in Asshole Archie a hyperbole of the implicit sexism in Archie Comics, or was it mere sexism? The reader will have the last word. Thanks for everything.
